Sungjoon Park (PhD student in Cognition & Cognitive Neuroscience): Perspective taking is a key part of our cognition. We use it spatially to think about space and the relationships between objects, and we use it socially to think about what other people are thinking or how they will behave. Are these two uses of perspectives different or the same? I am researching about how perspectives are used for both spatial and social situations and I hope this contributes to forming a more unifying model of perspective taking and the mechanism behind it.
